Power: 0.75 kW

Quick answer: The CNC YCB600 is a vector variable frequency drive (VFD) that controls the speed and torque of a three-phase AC motor — saving energy, giving smooth soft starts, and enabling precise process control. It covers 0.4 kW to 11 kW, accepts single- or three-phase 220 V or three-phase 380 V input, and outputs 0–600 Hz. Price on request — send your motor kW and supply voltage on WhatsApp for the right model.

A motor that only runs at full speed wastes energy and hammers your machinery every time it starts. A variable frequency drive fixes both: it varies the frequency and voltage fed to the motor, so you can run it at exactly the speed a job needs and ramp it up gently instead of slamming it to full power. The CNC YCB600 is a vector-control VFD built for that across pumps, fans, compressors, conveyors, and general machinery.

What the YCB600 VFD does

The YCB600 sits between your supply and your motor and rebuilds the power the motor receives. That gives you four things at once: speed control (run a pump or fan at 60% instead of throttling it), energy saving (on pumps and fans, power drops sharply as speed drops), soft starting (no mechanical shock or heavy inrush), and process control (built-in PID holds a pressure, flow or temperature setpoint automatically). Its advanced vector mode delivers strong low-speed torque — 150% at 1 Hz — for loads that are hard to turn from standstill.

Full model range (0.4–11 kW)

The 2S models take single/three-phase 220–240 V; the 4T models take three-phase 360–440 V.

What the YCB600 does not do

A VFD controls the motor — it isn't a substitute for the circuit protection around it. You still need a correctly rated breaker feeding the drive, and on longer motor cables or shared transformers a line reactor may be advisable. It's also not a solar pump drive: for running a pump directly from solar panels with MPPT, use the CNC YCB2200PV solar pump drive instead.

Frequently asked questions

What is a VFD used for?

A variable frequency drive controls the speed of an AC motor by varying the frequency it's fed. It's used to save energy on pumps and fans, soft-start heavy loads, and precisely control processes like flow, pressure and conveyor speed.

What size VFD do I need for my motor?

Match the VFD to the motor's kW and, importantly, its full-load current — not just horsepower. A 5.5 kW three-phase motor uses the 4T0055G, for example. Send us the motor nameplate and we'll confirm the model.

Can a VFD run a single-phase motor, or convert single to three phase?

The 2S models take a single-phase 220 V supply and output three-phase to drive a three-phase motor — a common way to run a three-phase motor from a single-phase connection. A VFD is designed to drive three-phase motors, not single-phase ones.

Does a VFD save electricity?

On pumps and fans, significantly — because their power demand falls roughly with the cube of speed, running at 80% speed can cut energy use by around half. On constant-torque loads the saving is smaller but you still gain soft starting and control.

What's the difference between V/F and vector control?

V/F control is simple and fine for fans and pumps. Vector control models the motor more precisely for strong low-speed torque and tighter speed holding — better for conveyors, hoists and machinery that must pull hard from standstill. The YCB600 offers both, plus a torque mode.

Can I use a VFD instead of a soft starter?

Yes — a VFD soft-starts a motor and then keeps controlling its speed afterwards. If you only need a gentle start on a fixed-speed motor and no ongoing speed control, a dedicated soft starter can be more economical; if you want speed control too, the VFD does both.

Can it be controlled remotely or from a PLC?

Yes — built-in RS485 lets it be commanded and monitored from a PLC or control system, alongside its onboard PID for standalone setpoint control.

What's the difference between the 2S and 4T models?

2S models run on a 220–240 V supply (single or three phase in); 4T models run on a 360–440 V three-phase supply. Pick the branch that matches the power available at your site.
