Description
For a panel heater. This is the KTO011 (red dial) — normally closed: it keeps the heater ON while the panel is cold and switches it OFF when the temperature rises to your setting.
Need to switch a cooling fan instead? Use the KTS011 (blue dial) fan thermostat.

The CNC KTO011 is a small DIN-rail thermostat for electrical panels and enclosures. Set the dial between 0 and 60°C. While the panel is colder than the setting, the contact stays closed and your heater runs; when the panel warms up to the setting, the contact opens and the heater stops. This keeps panels dry and protects electronics from cold and condensation.

How to install

  • Clip it on the DIN rail, away from the heater itself.
  • Wire the thermostat contact in series with the heater supply.
  • Heaters above 10A at 250V: let the thermostat switch a contactor or relay coil instead.
  • Set the dial and check the heater switches as expected.

This is a control device, not a protection device — it does not protect against overload, short circuit or surges. Use a proper breaker on the circuit.

FAQs

What is the difference between the red and blue thermostat?

Red (KTO011) is normally closed and is used for heaters. Blue (KTS011) is normally open and is used for fans.

Can it switch my heater directly?

Yes, up to 10A at 250V AC. For bigger heaters, use it to switch a contactor.
